NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING: Judicial Council Employer-Employee Relations Act (JCEERA)

These proposed regulations aim to implement the Judicial Council Employer-Employee Relations Act (JCEERA), a statutory scheme that establishes collective bargaining rights for certain employees of the Judicial Council, the policymaking body of the California courts. These proposed regulations apply PERB’s existing unfair practice procedures for processing alleged violations of the JCEERA.

Any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, may submit written comments relevant to the proposed regulatory action to the Board. The written comment period closes on Monday, May 2, 2022, which is 45 days after the publication of this notice. The Board will only consider comments received at the Board offices by that time.
