Rulemaking: Request for Reasonable Accommodation Regulations

The proposed regulations update the Public Employment Relations Board’s rules that govern requests for reasonable accommodations.

Status: Preliminary Rulemaking Activity – The Board discussed proposed changes to the text of the draft regulations at the December 9, 2021, February 10, 2022, and April 14, 2022 meetings. The Board approved the proposed text at the 4/14/2022 Board Meeting. PERB staff is preparing background materials in preparation of initiating the formal rulemaking process with the Office of Administrative Law.
