JCEERA Proposed Changes to Regulatory Text
On October 15, 2017, Governor Brown signed Assembly Bill 83 (AB 83) (Chapter 835, Statutes of 2017), which established the Judicial Council Employer-Employee Relations Act (JCEERA). The Office of the General Counsel has prepared draft JCEERA regulations for consideration by the Board. If authorized by the Board, the rulemaking package, including Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Proposed Text, and Initial Statement of Reasons, will be filed with the Office of Administrative Law to initiate the formal rulemaking process.
