Notice of Proposed Regulatory Action – Notice File Number Z2023-0627-01

The proposed regulations update the Public Employment Relations Board’s rules that govern transit districts.

Any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, may submit written comments relevant to the proposed regulatory action to the Board. Comments may also be submitted by facsimile (FAX) at (916) 327-6377 or by e-mail to kimberly.procida@perb.ca.gov. The written comment period closes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 23, 2023, which is 47 days after the publication of this notice. The Board will only consider comments received at the Board offices by that time. Submit written comments to:

Preliminary Rulemaking Activity – The Board approved proposed changes to the text of the draft regulations related to the addition of the Sacramento Regional Transit District at the October 14, 2021 meeting. PERB staff is preparing background materials in preparation of initiating the formal rulemaking process with the Office of Administrative Law.
