Preliminary Rulemaking Activity:
Section 25058 is added to the Public Utilities Code and transfers jurisdiction for unfair labor practice complaints involving the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District from the court system to the Public Employment Relations Board.
At the October 8, 2026, public meeting, the Board authorized a subcommittee to draft proposed regulatory text regarding Senate Bill 1166. The new law takes effect January 1, 2027.
