Interest-Based Bargaining (IBB) is a bargaining process that focuses on the interests of both parties in order to create mutually-beneficial settlements. The IBB process provides a unique approach to resolving contract negotiations and other issues that arise in labor-management relationships.
SMCS mediators are experienced in the IBB process and can provide training to the parties as well as facilitation of actual interest-based bargaining.
